My Story

Hi, I'm Carla, a  working single mum, I have a part-time job and I'm a professional ADHD Coach and studied at the ADHD Training Institute |ADHD Coaching Program | ADHD Life Coach Training (iactcenter.com

I'm part-way through my diagnosis for combined ADHD.  I've been the 'long-route' in life.  I had to work super hard to just pass exams, studying was a challenge.  I went to college, then university and just scraped a 2.2 with my thesis near enough a disaster.  Low self-esteem and confidence underpinned my life until now.

Seeing and experiencing the challenges first-hand that people with ADHD face in a world designed for neurotypicals has driven me to help others. This might be you, a friend or a loved one.   We've so many individual strengths that we can exploit!   We just need to learn how.

I plan to offer this help by raising awareness in schools, further education and in the world of work, together with offering coaching.

My aim is to help as many people (you) as possible reach their full potential and not be written off in life either by themselves or others.

My interests are; running I'm like a spaniel, I need it, it stills my head.  Also yoga, our cat and going to the football.  There's something about it that makes me feel so much lighter after a match.  No doubt the focus on the match only together with the freedom to cheer on my team as loudly as I like :)

I'm also very grateful to have my family and friends.

Get in touch if you've any questions at all.  I want to help, I've been there and I get it.

Carla :)
